Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services

1. Services

Beckley Electrical Ltd provides domestic electrical services including but not limited to: electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, testing and inspection, fuseboard replacements and upgrades, rewiring, lighting installation, fault finding, and electrical safety reports.

All work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations) and current Building Regulations. Beckley Electrical Ltd is a registered Competent Person (Part P approved) and can self-certify all notifiable electrical work.

2. Quotations

We provide free, no obligation quotations for all domestic electrical work. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Our quotations include the cost of labour, materials, and any applicable certification. If additional work is required during the course of a job, we will inform you and agree any additional costs before proceeding.

3. Payment

Payment terms are agreed prior to commencement of work. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Bank transfer (BACS)
  • Card payment

For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to commencement. The balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the work.

4. Guarantee

All work carried out by Beckley Electrical Ltd is guaranteed. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and will rectify any issues arising from our work at no additional cost.

Guarantees on materials are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms. We use quality, branded materials from reputable suppliers.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a booking at any time prior to the agreed start date. We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations so we can adjust our schedule.

If materials have already been purchased for your job, you may be asked to cover the cost of those materials if they cannot be returned.

6. Liability

Beckley Electrical Ltd carries full public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. We take every precaution to ensure work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the work carried out. We are not liable for any pre-existing defects in your electrical installation unless specifically included in the scope of our work.
